The Christmas Season is here…and so is the cold!

It’s a chilly 45 degrees here in Kansas this cool day and it’s starting to feel like the Christmas season is here!  The colder weather is definitely starting and that means it’s time to bundle up and get to work on those cold weather projects!  Today I am in finishing mode.  I have a quilt off the frame that needs bound.  A few new crochet that need patterns written and ends woven in.  Now all I need is a decent movie binge so I can sit and get all of this finished!  Maybe a little Grinch marathon….

I am super excited about this quilt that I need to finish up.  Have you ever had those quilts that were always intended for some purpose, but you want nothing more than to just keep it for yourself to look at?  This is one of those for me.  I love the Grinch story and am loving this quilt.  I always want to make one of everything to keep, but this is one I just want all for myself.  Here is just a sneak peek, but there will probably be more pictures as I sit and work on it!

Got to find my Christmas mojo this week, too!  I have been busy getting orders filled and quilts quilted and still have not pulled out the Christmas tree!  In truth there is still Halloween candles that need to be pulled off the mantel to make room for stockings.  If I get this binding finished maybe I will write my patterns this evening by Christmas tree lights.  Then I can snuggle in, get some work done, maybe some online Christmas shopping, and be a little festive.
