Merry Grinchmas!
It is almost that time of year! Get out the cider and throw a log on the fire. The temps are getting cooler and the leaves have all fallen! I have to tell you I am not a cold weather gal, but I do really love the things that come with the snow. Warm sweaters, cozy hats, and beautiful quilts. I love getting ready to have a Merry Grinchmas!
One of my favorite traditions is snuggling up on the couch with a hot drink, a warm quilt, and a good Christmas movie. One of my favorites is always any version of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I do especially love the Jim Carrey version and tend to drive my husband crazy with quotes he doesn’t understand. “Hate, hate, double hate, loathe, entirely! For the next 5 minutes only, 99% off!” Hehe.
So if you are anything like me, now that it’s after Thanksgiving, bring on the Christmas movies! Very soon it will be time to put out the advent calendars, put up the tree and hang the stockings. If you have little ones to help celebrate or just love the Grinch as much as I do, you will love this Grinch advent calendar. Move the Grinch stuffed toy from pocket to pocket to count down the days. Add notes, small toys, candy, or treats to open each day to help you wait for Santa! Its a wonderful tradition to start this year.
