More Quilts Equals More Summer Quilting!
You all have been busy this summer, which means I’ve been busy quilting your quilt tops! I’ve Been Doing a whole lot more Summer Quilting! I love this new clothes line that I have for taking photos of your wonderful creations! It makes it so easy to get good photos with lots of sunshine! Since you’ve all been keeping me pretty busy, you may recognize some of these from the Facebook pages, but I thought I would share with you here as well.
Pinwheel Wedding Memory Quilt
This is indeed a unique quilt! The fabrics represent the wedding colors and are beautiful batiks! I love, love, love pretty much all batiks, and these two work fantastically together. The back of the quilt served as the guest book at the reception. Guest could sign right on the fabric with markers preserving well-wishes to the bride and groom forever!
I decided to quilt a fairly large swirly floral pattern on this quilt so that the signatures on the back would not get lost. I think it turned out perfectly for a wedding memory quilt!
Yellow and Grey Baby Quilt
Sometimes you just need a neutral baby gift. Yellow and grey is perfect! So many adorable animals: chicks, elephants, giraffes, oh my! This is an adorable shower present for any momma and baby on your list!
T-Shirt Quilt
What better way to save all those old shirts from high school, college, or vacations that you don’t wear anymore than to make them a wonderful memory quilt? This is a T-Shirt quilt that I did with just a simple stipple so as not to detract form the shirts and photos themselves. It turned out really soft. It’s a great way to continue using and holding onto all the memories tied to those shirts.
