Pinwheel Surprise for the Spring Holidays

Spring has been awfully busy and way too little of it has been quilting! We have been working on getting organized in the new house (craft room still crazy!) and still keeping the old house ready to sell. Even without cutting and seam ripping and batting fuzzies things still get dusty!
I do have some small projects to show you though! I was at the fabric store and of course all of the Easter and St Patrick’s Day fabric was on a really good sale. So I thought I would try them out with the Pinwheel Surprise pattern for some table toppers or wall hangings. Here’s what I came up with.
They are very different, but I do like the black background with this too. I think for the next the little squares that pop out need to be yellow in the St Patrick’s Day one and maybe pastel green in the Easter one. But no two quilts are ever exactly alike and I like to experiment! So give me your thoughts, your opinions, show me your projects! I want to hear what you are working on!
