Quilts Quilts Quilts

Quilts Quilts Quilts

Quilts Quilts Quilts, I feel like I have seen so many quilts these last few months that I have neglected posting.  I wanted to take the time now to show you what I’ve had going on.  Disclaimer:  unless otherwise stated these are all quilts pieced by others that I have just had the pleasure of quilting.  I would hate to take credit away from any one of these talented individuals.

Anchors Away

This is a sweet sailing quilt for cool summer evenings on the boat.  I thought the anchors pattern would match perfectly with the theme of this quilt and I am so pleased at the way it turned out.  Any kid would love to snuggle under this while watching the waves on the lake.

Pretty Florals

Have you ever had a pretty floral fabric that you just couldn’t cut up into tiny pieces?  This pattern is perfect for that.  You can keep your favorites in larger pieces and frame them out, and sashing and you have a beautiful quilt.   I chose a swirly quilting for this to change up the sharp cornered squares.

Stack-N-Whack Quilts

Next up I had a trio of stack-n-whack quilts.  This is a little different variation where you only cut into four pieces instead of the original eight pieces.  You get so many different looking blocks with the same fabric and sometimes even with the same section of that fabric.  Each block is different and beautiful.  These each got their own flowery or swirly quilting.

Hearts and Pinwheels

Two of my favorites, hearts and pinwheels.  The two blocks make for a fun Valentines Day quilt or just a great quilt for someone you love!  This one I quilted with all over hearts and swirls to keep up that fun whimsical feeling you get from the pinwheels.

Layer Cake Quilt

The great thing about precuts is how quickly you can put together a quilt.  You don’t ever have to worry about choosing fabric because everything already coordinates.  You don’t usually have to do much cutting so you can just start sewing!  This is one of those fantastic quilts from a layer cake.  This quilt also got a curvy flower quilting to soften the straight edges.

Some of the Backs

Here are some closeups of the backs of these wonderful quilts!

Unicorn Candy Quilt

Finally, this is one that I have been working on.  I had a few matching precut strip sets that I had been holding onto for quite a while.  I decided with the rainbows and unicorns trend that I would pull out the rainbow colors and create my own version.  I tried a few different designs and after several drawings I ended up with this fun block.  I think it looks like rainbow hard candy, so I named the pattern Unicorn Candy.  It’s a fun quilt that goes together pretty quickly and can be made in pretty much any color palette.  I would love to see some of your versions of this quilt.  The pattern is now available and I would love for you to check it out.  >>>Get the pattern here<<<
